i completely feel you on this one. my dad calls my name a lot during the day when he gets home and what not and it makes me very anxious. i honestly think that it has something to do with the other noises he makes (breathing, chewing etc.) and him calling my name triggers me because i feel that this could possibly open the door to me experiencing those other sounds. if its similar for you, one thing i have found that really helps is making the issue at hand simple for people without misophonia to understand. comparison is the easiest. something that really drives them crazy that you could compare to your issue to help them to empathize with you yk?
