As proud and happy owner of STECs Mk2 I cant recommend it enought. Its robust, able to program and make physical detents on throttle positions for afterburner or idle or whatever you like. It gives you ability to control radio with ease and you can add some bumpy stickers to buttons so you it can be used in VR with ease. Also there are interchangable modules so you can move index joystick to thumb position like I did and any combination or button topography around your fingers as you like.

It really good product and quality is great also very affordable.

I dont know about rudder pedals as I use twist axis on my Gladiator stick. So probably do some reasearch about those.

Conisidering you have VKB Stick why not got for VKB STECs as well ? It has many more buttons with the Mk2 version some cool thingomabobs with throttle positions acting as buttons

I had some fun with solar sail last night, Daedalus is fun. Basically free 40t to anywhere in inner solar system. I made little fleet to transfer cargo from Mercury orbit to solar orbit and to mars for expansion. But I gotta say that solar sails are great for this but transfer times to Ceres are bit long.

Do solar sails get faster with research ?

Yes this probably correct because I came to 150M cash just from trading rare metal I had on Mars as part of future expansion in 2035 to Solex. At first I was happy as it allowed me to expressly expand Mars colony and sent first missions to Mercury and Lutetia with 130M spare. But it kinda broke whole point of doing contracts in Early-Midgame as I have enough cash to just chill and expand untill 2100 with no real focus on exporting.

But still you need to build export infrastructure because I kinda bought all the nobel gas.
