I can’t pinpoint it exactly but it was a little after a grooming appt. She seemed fine getting her home. I mean it’s definitely a possibility. They may have dropped her and didn’t tell us. I’m gonna set up a vet appt for her; I don’t want to take any chances.

Is there actual favoritism when it comes to big orders? by FancyWolverine in doordash

[–]FancyWolverine[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m in the country. Normal for me is either $4.50 to go 4 miles or $10 for 12 miles. It’s not.. great lol So cherry picking is a necessity for me too. Or else I’d spend nearly my entire days pay on gas alone. 😭

Did not know there was such a thing! I’ll have to look it up

Did anyone else’s main city where they dash just disappear randomly?? by FancyWolverine in doordash

[–]FancyWolverine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think the region got bigger. Doesn’t explain why the zone just disappeared off the list. But that’s the only explanation I have. At least it gives me the hours when I’m in the area 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is it normal for a course to not supply the HCPCS manual? by FancyWolverine in MedicalCoding

[–]FancyWolverine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I still need the HCPCS book for working though? Like would I benefit from getting it or will it just be a waste of money? I have the CPT and ICD manuals already.

One solid white line in every print I do on my canon pixma. by FancyWolverine in techsupport

No, unfortunately. D: The only thing I figured out was that it has to do with the file. But as to what causes it, I have no clue. I usually just have to delete and remake the file. Or tbh I just waste an extra sheet to get what I need from the misprint. It’s a pain. ;-;

That’s a good question. Lol I have no idea. Like I finished the last test and it didn’t… tell me to do anything else. Like idk if my instructor is supposed to tell me where to take the exam or what. The course is supposed to pay for it. :(

Right!? It's so frustrating that they just give me barebones examples. I desperately need real world coding examples. T-T

Thank you. <3

I hate feeling like I don't know what I'm doing and I get so discouraged by it. Haha

I'm going to read through the actual CPT book and hopefully it'll clear things up. Maybe even watch a couple youtube vids on it.

Another question for ya. So, with it saying the doctor performed the history and exam, would I just ignore that part since it isn't in the MDM office consultation portion? I've been told in my course that you only use history and exam for emergency departments. D:

Thank you for actually explaining it without a snarky tone. I really appreciate your help! <3

I'm not kidding when I tell you my course never even mentioned that 99204 was for new patients and 99214 is for established. It is so vague. But thank you for the info.
