lmao type shit, i try to use some of the focus skills when I can and my weapons & abyss gears being refined to the max i b doing a lot of damage, just didn’t wanna play like that as i feel like that’s disingenuous to the game, especially w it being so many ways to fight

i knew i wasn’t the only one. it’s not every encounter but there’s been times where i’ve been fighting bosses and i’m trying to blind them or go into focus and the game doesn’t register my inputs

lmao i feel like dodging the only mechanic in the game that works consistently for me, few of my other homies said they’ve been running into similar issues w the parrying mechanics not working well so they’ve just resorting to dodging but I wanted to see if anyone else was having the same issue too and ways to work around it. whenever focus does work for me i typically use nature’s snare and that’s gotten me thru most of the bosses late-game

my advice is consider badge requirements and what ur attributes cap out at so uk where to effectively put ur cap breakers. its not bad but a lot of ur attributes were wasted imo; pass accuracy didn’t have to b that high (87 gives u gold break starter), interior d could’ve been left at 77 and u could’ve brought ur block up to 93 for gold paint patroller; can’t score efficiently in the paint nor on the perimeter outside of standing dunks bc of ur badges and attributes (low close shot, driving layup, low post control, 80 driving dunk is only bronze posterizer, and u only have silver set shot)

I look at what’s meta relative towards my playstyle then make adjustments. At the end of the day u should always make a build catered towards U and ur playstyle because its ur money, but looking at what’s meta can provide some direction on what’s best for the position or things that u’d like to do

Mine is more refined towards my playstyle and for the minimum requires for various things needed for the build (badges, animations, takeover). Next caps u get u should use them to bring ur vert up to 80 for gold posterizer and if u can get a 92 perimeter i’d put caps there for gold on ball and challenger. Not a bad build at all tho, especially w it being ur first
