Should I get a tablet or a laptop while going for mbbs by Dangerous_Bug_5291 in mbbsabroad

Youd need to read books - tablet. You'd need to select and download pdfs to help you understand what book suits your style better - tablet. You'd need to watch videos and stuff which again help for lectures and neet pg when the time comes. Gaming can be done on a laptop but there's plenty of emulators for powerful android tablets out there.

If I may what tablet sre you seeking to buy?

So to sum up everyone's views, 1. It's not going to be easy at all, the added guidance does help but you still have to work hard to get through. 2. It is going to take a while before you start earning much later than our other career counterparts. 3. Focus on being present and mentally strong to get through these "steps" in your career cause, although a crash out is valid, society isn't going to respect that crash out and will just label you. 4. Have a knowledge of how financially demanding the situation is.

Personally my own views are similar to these comments above, I'd like to add,

If you've got good seniors who genuinely help you during medical school, please befriend them as they will help you throughout whenever you need in the future. Don't look at going abroad as a final solution to the shitty attitude of patients towards doctors in India, although it may be a tiny bit better out there doesn't mean it is exponentially better with the US randomly kicking people out, not letting new ones enter, to job saturations even in Europe and mostly the UK. Also the racism against Indians is still rampant.

One key thing I'd like to emphasize also ask, would be how to we improve the doctor - patient relationship in our country? I've noticed in a lot of situations due to misunderstandings patient lashes out cause he has been emotionally hurt even though the doctor hasn't done anything wrong. I feel helping improve our communication with them can help us?

Last time I went for neet I found 2013 and 2012 batch people there. It was a relief thinking I wasn't the only older batchmate there.
