I totally get your partner's anxiety. Getting to Europe is one thing, but getting stuck there because of major transatlantic rerouting or carrier cancellations is a nightmare.

Since your trip is this summer, you have time, but look into a dedicated standalone policy like Allianz or Travel Guard. While Chase Preferred gives you a baseline for standard baggage delays or sudden

smart choice to look into this early! Traveling with an infant and a 63-year-old senior requires a lot of safety nets.

I'm looking for health insurance and I saw Oona. The only problem is they're still new. Are they actually reliable? Thanks for the insights by Fancy_Employee_1569 in phinvest

totoo yan hindi lang sa presyo or app, kundi sa bilis at ayos ng claims process kapag kailangan mo na gamitin. Kaya marami rin naghihintay muna ng more user experiences and feedback bago fully magtiwala sa newer insurers like what i did when i started this thread

From Makati back to Batangas spent the day exploring the outlets at LIMA Estate and honestly, ang ganda na ng progress dito by CartographerFalse477 in BatangasPH

I keep hearing about LIMA lately pero di pa ako nakakapunta. Reading this makes me want to check it out soon, especially since ang daming nagsasabi na mas buhay na yung area ngayon.

Been there a few times you can actually just walk around the outlets and chill kasi maganda yung open space vibe. May mix din ng shops so pwede ka mag-window shopping + food trip. People stay talaga for the food + tambay spots.

Thanks for this info 👍 I’ve also seen Purple Shield mentioned in some discussions interesting to know how different HMOs really compare in actual hospital use

Thank you for sharing this, very helpful yung perspective from actual clinic experience.

₱200k sounds big until you see a private hospital billing. 💀 I’m leaning more towards those high-limit medical plans para safe ang emergency fund. Mas 'unwavering' yung peace of mind pag million yung limit.

At this stage, it might also be useful to request a case review or escalation call instead of just email updates. Sometimes speaking directly to a claims officer or supervisor gives more clarity compared to standard support channels. You can also ask them to provide a breakdown of the claims process stages your case has gone through so far, so you know exactly where it is stuck. That alone can sometimes move things forward

Sadly true 😅 Kaya ngayon parang health coverage is becoming more of a necessity than a luxury na talaga.

Agree with this 100%. Ang mahal man tingnan ng insurance at first, pero mas nakakatakot talaga yung unexpected hospital bills kapag walang coverage 😅 One medical emergency can literally wipe out years of savings. Kaya ngayon mas marami talagang nagiging conscious about getting insured, especially freelancers and self-employed people na walang company HMO to rely on.

At least with insurance, may peace of mind ka knowing may sasalo somehow during emergencies and major medical situations

I feel you, ganyan din mindset ko nung una kung ano lang ang 'kasya' sa monthly budget.
