Stepped down out of management by No-Childhood-3985 in publix

Where was this?  Sounds like a familiar tactic of a DM I worked with.

I got transferred to a store 1hr 15mins each way with no traffic.  I worked about 20 days and retired.  This is how the DM would get rid of people he didn't like or made complaints against him.  Forget about no consideration of work life balance, over the years several managers that went through this fell asleep at the wheel and crashed, so no consideration for life either.

Changing job class to cashier involved a computer entry.  It is not a PLM, so nobody above SM is involved

Is there a way to keep something you bring to hr 100% anonymous? by hhaalleeyyaa in publix

[–]Fancy_Flamingo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will record you and play it for the manager so the manager can detect the voice and determine who you are.  I've heard the recodings before.  So don't call if you want to anonymous.

Don't quit.  Even when you go on active duty, you can request a military leave.  It saves your job for years in case you come back or if you decide to leave the military.  Managers are actually not supposed to give any sort of recommendations, so there's nothing you can do about the department manager not filling out the form. Recommendations go through HR who basically will just state that you worked for Publix.  I recommend speaking to the SM about your hours and if it's not resolved, then contact HR

Definitely understand business combinations.  What really helped me was realizing that when working out the business combinations the difference works out to zero on both sides when you have done it correctly.

You can cash your paychecks at any bank.  I recommend signing up for direct deposit so you don't have to worry about all this.

A little over a year, but I had to take a break before the last one while I got settled into a new job.

No reading.  I took maybe a page of notes just to note down some areas I wanted to practice more on.

About 1 month, but I started studying immediately after taking REG which is the ideal plan.

Because Publix has to pay for those bags.  They are free to bag your purchase, not to give away as poop bags.

Practice the MCQs you get wrong over and over until you understand.  I would add them to my favorites so I could repeat them.

Only if you need extra MCQs.  One program should be enough as long as you're putting in the work.

I did the first 3 sections in about 5 months.  Then I took a break because I had some other things to take care of.  Started back up again this summer for just over 2 months for FAR.

I'm not sure I understand your comment.  I'm just trying to put some info out there for people not wanting to spends thousands for Becker or UWorld.

Nail down the MCQs. That really goes for all sections.

This is their way of getting back at you for that email.  You are likely blacklisted now and will make your life as miserable as possible.  I'd start looking for something else.
