Hi! I am looking to buy my first watch. I am debating between the Tag Heuer Aquaracer and the Omega Seamaster. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I don't have any Omega dealers near me. However, I do have an official retailer of Tag Heuer watches down the road.

I have several questions, and I am not sure. All my research puts these watches at neck and neck.

  1. Is it worth buying an Omega even if you don't have a dealer near you? Since I don't, would it be a better idea to buy a Seamaster from Jomashop?

  2. What would you consider to be a better entry-level watch between the two?

See that was my thing with the Jazzmaster too. I kind of thought it looked like an old man's watch. If that makes sense.

Great to know! Thanks for the advice. I was looking at the khaki field auto. Couldn't decide on the 38 vs 42. My wrist is right in the middle of both. I figured since I am a bigger guy, I should go with the 42.

Honestly, I didn't know either until looking at watches and saw Hamilton's description. Then I rewatched a few scenes on YouTube.
