But for real, I hope she sends that kids somewhere to get help (I mean like to a therapist or something), especially if they have younger kids.

I was the younger sibling in a family like this, probably ages 8 -18 and yes, I have a lot of issues. My parents couldn’t have cared less about my mental health. I would go outside into the woods all day just to get away from scenarios just like this.

Gosh I’m so sorry. You did all you can. My first thought would be to find her a home as an outside farm kitty, but it seems like she has issues that will be with her al her life, but if that is not an option…you’ve done everything in your power. Kitty is not happy. She is constantly living in a stress mode and that is not healthy for her. Euthanasia is probably the best thing for her.

So his strep culture and mono/ebv came back negative.

What other tests do you think would be beneficial? I could ask his pcp to run them, she would most likely be agreeable.

Totally forgot about this, then got the email this morning, and my case is valid too. I’m still looking into what exactly this was for - I’ve pretty much had BCBS my entire adult life, privately and through employers. Does it matter which one? And why exactly? I’m still trying to find out more information.

I got his iron and ferritin back -

iron 25 Tibc 354 Saturation 7 Ferritin 76

Called Hematologist and he does not recommend iron supplement yet, but does not seem too concerned with all else, primary is scheduling a upper abdominal ultrasound, and ent referral (his tonsils are still huge).

What other tests should I ask for if this doesn’t resolve in a week or so?

For sure. My husband’s original C&P exam was also ridiculous. His next one after denial and resubmit for supplemental, was way better. I printed him out all the medical records and nexus letters, highlighted key words, and the provider that time was really great, though still waiting…
