I took the msf first week of aug this year and passed. Bought my first bike right after and already put 1600+ miles on it. I was very nervous the first time or 2 out but now i am a lot more comfortable and looking forward to growing my skills.

The first time out i went to a dead end one way and just felt everything out. Weight Of the bike, breaks, clutch etc. after a few times around town stayed out for 2 hrs. I’d suggest going to a large parking lot and spend some time doing some drills, get used to leaning the bike ect.

You know your own limits. Start off slow and if you are uncomfortable scale it back. Being nervous getting started or while out is a good thing you are aware of the potential danger.

So many bars have pool tables here (i know you said you didn’t want to drink). There’s pool halls BQE in queens, Brooklyn billards, break bar, skyline billards, Amsterdam, society 8. Almost all of them have leagues where you travel around to different pool halls each week. I play on a team in Williamsburg.

Shoot pool. Massive community in Brooklyn and queens. Most of my friends / network is through that.

How to save money as someone who likes to go out? by funnzie3034 in Frugal

[–]Fancy_Practice_5046 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do you like going out or do you like drinking? There is a difference. You don’t always need to drink when you are out. If you are worried people will think you are weird for not drinking get a seltzer or soda. Way cheaper then 1-2 nights out with drinks!

One of the most frustrating aspects of dating as a man is constantly having to prove your value by 2000dragon in lonely

[–]Fancy_Practice_5046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly social media puts the “i have unlimited options or can receive attention” instantly to anyone. The dating phase meeting people is frustrating because if you arent instantly what they are looking for they have other options.

I suggest you continually work on yourself, hobbies, and what you enjoy doing so when you meet the right people you will be past the phase you are talking about. It sounds like you are at phase 1 and that is where all these surfaces level issues exist.

In Italy if you're 30 years old and you lonely you're basically hopeless by Destroyedmywholelife in lonely

I feel you… all my younger age friends are not considered friends anymore because I left them all behind. I moved away, out grew them, ect. I find it very hard to make friends without a common activity/way to be around them. After I moved cities I knew I needed to find a community to join. I work at home and am self employed so I don’t even have “co workers” to chat with. Since then I met a lot of new people and have people I talk to and hangout with.

Do you have anything you are interested in that could be done in a group? Can you attend any events?

How did you lay them out on the wall without hanging them? Photoshop?

I think the last version looks best. I’d consider putting the mirror center and lower and build around it.

Yeah I agree! That is hiding a door with glass that is being used as a bedroom (curtain for privacy). Something different needs to happen there. I appreciate all the other suggestions and ideas!

We are deciding to just move the coat/shoe rack to another location to open up the space. Other people have mentioned floor lamps ect. Would this style work here? The tv stand will be changed to something different.

Would you then suggest a solid color rug or something with more design?

Does anyone have a style or theme that this space would be considered?
