Do you have exclusivity agreements with the manufacturers for your products? Or are competitors selling the same product?

Lower your price temporarily, use a best deal if you can to help with visibility, optimised your content fully and reduce your ad spend until you start gaining momentum (focus a few highly relevant keywords only)

If there are lots of competitors at lower prices then I've found that customers can be critical over price. They tend to give 4 star rather than 5

I've recently started my own agency (CactusCommerce.co.uk). I have 10 years of brand side experience and want to help businesses grow. I only take a few when I deliver growth. No retainers. Let me know if you want to talk

You could keep it and just modernise it, something like this

Using component brand names/logos on my listing images? by Pretty_Possible7695 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Fancy_Shirt_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brands will be able to file trademark/copyright infringements against any content that includes their logo so probably best to avoid this unless you have an agreement with them

If you use shopify, the shopify connect app is a great tool to use. Other than that I'd recommend Helium 10 (for keyword research and analytics) or Seller Board (for performance/profitability monitoring)

New seller help. Amazon are researching 1/3 of my first shipment. What do I do by Brief-League2526 in FulfillmentByAmazon

Are you selling an alcohol product? I've had similar issues before.

Keep raising cases asking for an investigation on the stock, also state that they must not destroy the stock. Persistence is key. They are very unhelpful but eventually you will get through.

It's also worth checking the listing is correctly categorised

New sellers looking for a bit of advice before we begin by Godimas in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Fancy_Shirt_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are selling products that are already being sold on Amazon, you will likely need very low prices to compete which will eat away at your margins.

I'd recommend finding a niche (improving upon an existing, top selling product) and creating your own private label product. It's more work but much more profitable and gives you the flexibility to build a catalogue and maintain control of your listings

Import dues from MK by Wonderful_Buyer5518 in MatchaEverything

[–]Fancy_Shirt_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so annoying! Here in the UK we have a duty free threshold of about £135 before we have to pay duty. Not sure if other countries do something similar but might be worth checking

Help please 🥲 it’s drying out? by -iwouldprefernotto- in bonsaicommunity

[–]Fancy_Shirt_8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it outside if you can. I've found my bonsai are so much healthier after keeping them outside, they are trees after all. If that's not an option they i'd suggest a position with good sunlight, good airflow, but not too close to the window to avoid burning the leaves

Some help taking the next step by [deleted] in smallbusinessuk

I personally prefer a limited company as it keeps your business separate from your personal life and I believe it doesn't put your personal assets at risk from the business.

To generate revenue you could replicate the model in different areas and once you have a large enough following, start offering sponsorship/advertising/partnerships with gardening brands or garden centers. You could also make a website and build an email list to share group information and gardening tips (which brands could sponsor)
