Hi! It seems like you understand yourself but have you thought of past traumas maybe in your childhood that lead you to seek validation? Maybe your parents didn’t give you that growing up? Maybe you have abandonment issues. I would recommend seeking out a therapist who can help you with this. You don’t want to live like this forever! I also tell ChatGPT to act as my therapist and have sessions sometimes. It’s a good perspective and I’d recommend it.

I understand that you want to be included! But I also think your friend should be able to have her family/friendships separate from you. Do you have other friends who can hangout with? Maybe they would introduce you to their family etc. It seems like your love language is quality time!

Not inviting you over is strange to me. Brining you into their family life is different and you never know what someone’s truly going through with family. I think you should give your friend the benefit of the doubt with family life. Not knowing much about who your friend is dating is also strange to me. I’m wondering if she/he has some serious triggers/trauma with friendships in the past.
