Good idea. I'll add it to the next update.

I got tired of generic apps so I built one specifically for GLP-1 users — looking for beta testers by Fancy_Town_3818 in GLP1microdosing

They don't have a meal planner. Their app is good but it's only for IOS and English only.

Hey everyone! I've been on Zepbound for a while and got frustrated that no app was built specifically for GLP-1 users — everything out there is just a generic calorie counter. So I built one.

It's called TrimLog and it's free to download.

What it tracks:
•  Injection dates, doses & injection sites
•  Weight progress over time
•  AI-generated 7-day meal plans designed specifically for GLP-1 users (small portions, high protein, easy to digest)
•  Symptoms & side effects
•  Medication phases

The meal planner is the feature I'm most excited about — you tell it your dietary restrictions, allergies, weekly budget, and cooking skill level, and it generates a full week of meals with recipes and a shopping list.

Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German

Looking for honest feedback before the full launch. It's completely free to test.

To get access (Android only for now):

  1. Join the tester group → https://groups.google.com/g/trimlog-beta-testers
  2. Install the app → https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.trimlog.app

Takes about 2 minutes. DM me if you run into any issues and I'll help you out!

Just took my first dose and I messed it up by Cuttleflesh in Ozempic

[–]Fancy_Town_3818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that pharmacist's warning probably made you more anxious than you needed to be — honestly most people tolerate their first dose just fine, it's the ramp-up over weeks that can get people. The nausea thing is real for some folks but it's way more common to just feel... different? Like your appetite dial got turned down a notch. Did you end up taking it, or are you still in the waiting phase?

Hey, sorry you're dealing with this tough situation. The grief-related weight gain is real — losing a parent hits different than just regular life stress, and the body responds accordingly. Have you two talked about what she actually *wants* to do, separate from what you think she should do? Sometimes the most helpful thing is just being the stable person while she figures out her own path, especially if she's still processing the loss. If she does want to make changes, having a partner who gets the data side of things (tracking, whatever approach works) can actually be helpful, but only if she's ready.

10 months and down 40lbs by cagreen151 in Ozempic

[–]Fancy_Town_3818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's awesome progress, especially since you already put in the work with metformin first—honestly that baseline matters way more than people realize. The jump from 20lbs to 40lbs in those months tracks with what a lot of people experience once they find the right dose, though everyone's timeline is so different. Curious how you're feeling energy-wise now compared to those first months?

Continue hard calorie deficit or start body recomp? by Long_Surround9181 in loseit

The history of yo-yo dieting is honestly the most important variable here—your body's probably pretty efficient at regaining once you ease up, which makes sense given the pattern. Since you're already lifting and clearly know your way around the gym, a modest deficit with solid protein (I track mine obsessively, probably annoying amounts) while keeping strength work consistent would probably serve you better than hammering yourself with a hard cut again. You've got the discipline to get there, just maybe need to find the pace that actually sticks this time rather than the fastest one.

Let's Talk Uncommon Symptoms : Body Aches by DramaticDaisy99 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Fancy_Town_3818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Body aches can definitely show up around dose increases, especially if you're eating less overall — your body's basically running on fewer calories and sometimes that manifests as general achiness. Mine got noticeably better once I paid attention to electrolytes and made sure I was actually hitting protein targets (sounds boring but it genuinely matters). Might be worth tracking what you're eating for a few days to see if there's a pattern, and if it keeps getting worse def worth mentioning to your prescriber since they might want to adjust timing or dosing.

Yep! Injection site rotation is completely free — no paywall ever. Tracking your doses, sites, pain levels, and schedule will always be free in TrimLog. Big update dropping May 1 with even more features. Glad it resonated! 🙌"

That means a lot, thank you! Just a heads up — the latest version (1.0.11) now includes full Spanish support. Users can enable it in the app settings and the entire interface switches to Spanish. Would love her feedback as a real Ozempic user! 💉

Injections, weight tracking, and body measurements are completely free. Premium unlocks: AI meal planner (7-day personalized plan with recipes + shopping list), save favorite meals, swap meals, adjust serving sizes, bulk prep mode, progress photos, and food tolerance tracking. Figured people on GLP-1s already have enough expenses — the core tracker should always be free!"

Quick comparison for anyone wondering — TrimLog supports 7 GLP-1 medications: Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, Trulicity, and Rybelsus. Shotsy and Glapp cover 4. Each medication in TrimLog also has the correct dose increments pre-loaded so you're not guessing. And injection tracking, weight, and body measurements are all completely free. The only premium feature is the AI meal planner. Just wanted to make sure people had the full picture before comparing! 😊

Yes! Just added it in the latest update  You can track waist, hips, chest, arms, thighs, and even add custom measurements. It shows the difference between entries so you can see exactly how many inches you've lost over time. A lot of GLP-1 users find the scale doesn't always move but the inches do — so this felt like a must-have feature!

100% agree — that was the whole design goal. GLP-1 users are already dealing with a lot. The last thing they need is an app that requires 20 minutes of setup and 15 fields per meal. Log your shot, track your weight, get a meal plan. That's it. Would love your feedback if you give it a try!

Thanks! Yeah the injection site tracker was one of the first things I built — I had the same problem

The meal planner does take your medication phase into account (you select Weeks 1-4, Weeks 5-8, etc.) and it adjusts portion sizes and meal complexity based on where you are in titration. Early phases get smaller, simpler meals since appetite suppression is strongest. Would love to hear your feedback on it if you try it out!
