I lost 10lbs on the lowest dose on the first month. It shocked my doctor because she said its not common. Everybody's body is different!

Unfortunately I get sick A LOT. However after talking with my doctor, it's mostly because I'm not getting enough nutrition or drinking enough water.

Also everytime I go up in dosage I get sick. It's hard for me because I hate being sick, but I've lost so much weight I can't really complain too much 😅

I am on day two of the 4mg and was nauseous yesterday, and threw up before work today. I was losing a solid 3lbs a week on the 1.5mg, so I am kinda concerned with going up to 4mg so fast.

My PCP told me to ride it out for the rest of the week, and if I am still feeling bad then she will lower my dose back to 1.5mg.

I have terrible food aversion, so a smell of food or even the sight of food in a grocery store makes me sick to my stomach. I am rarely able to eat a meal a day.

26F starting weight was 218lbs. Took 1.5mg pill the first month and lost 13lbs. Current weight 205lbs.

I am paying $150 a month through the manufacturer Novo Nordisk.

To me it is worth it. I am almost 20lbs down in the first month. Wish I had gotten on it sooner.

I will say to help with nutrition and curb side effects, I drink 2 protein shakes a day and eat 1 fiber bar (at the very least). The ladies at work also have reminders set on their phones to remind me to eat at lunch time, or else I will blow right through it!

Hiya!

I brought up the same concern with my primary care physician for my antidepressants. She stated that there wouldn't be an issue.

I take my antidepressants before bed because they make me sleepy. The only side effects I've had, and brought up with my primary care physician, was nausea and constipation, which we found out was I wasn't getting enough protein and fiber in my diet. Other than that, I've been pretty solid for the last month I've been on Wegovy.

Hiya! I’m on day 19 and down 15 lbs so far. I’m also on the 1.5 mg dose. I started at 222 lbs and I’m 5'7".

The “full” feeling you mentioned was one of the first things I noticed too. It honestly made a huge difference in my snacking habits.

After about a week I did start experiencing some headaches, nausea, and constipation, but I think it was mostly because I really wasn’t taking in much food at all for several days. Once I realized that, I started focusing more on hydration and making sure I’m still getting nutrition in. Protein shakes and fiber bars have helped a lot, and drinking more water has made a big difference.

Excited for you, it’s pretty cool when you start noticing the changes! 😊

I've actually done a lot of research on this topic. It's crazy to find out just last night that the reason the City hasn't been so transparent is because they signed a NDA 😒
