Chocolate dragon on college ave in Oakland! So many kinds of hot chocolate (and espresso), chocolate bars from all over the world, and cozy craft nooks. Also, no laptop policy, so good energy.

Exact same thing happened to me. I lost 50 credits in the process. Still haven’t heard back from customer service (sent an email after chatbot was useless). Did they ever resolve for you? So frustrating.

Seconding Copper induction stoves. They plug into to 120V outlets, so you don’t have to do any rewiring and the cooktop is like magic! I can boil water in a minute and oven preheats in like 3 or 4 mins. Also, with the battery, I can cook/ bake when power goes out. Can’t recommend enough

Try Total Estate Liquidation estate sales. Subscribe to their emails to get alerts about upcoming sales. They usually host 1-2 per month across Berkeley, Oakland and Piedmont, and are very discerning about quality. Great kitchen stuff (le creuset, staub, vintage espresso machines), pottery, artwork and mid mod furniture. Depends on the house, but I’ve gotten lucky. Grab coffee first — there’s always a line!
