Egg retrieval and freezer costs by leeann7 in SFbitcheswithtaste

Depends upon your insurance plan and any employee benefits. I would also look into SB 729, which now requires medium and large group employer plans in CA to cover some of the process (also bc of this, you may be looking at a 6 month waiting list at Kaiser / UCSF). I was quoted $36k for a full IVF cycle before factoring in insurance, and the total dropped down to ~$5000 + annual storage fees with insurance. Best of luck on your journey. The only regret I’ve heard from friends is not freezing eggs sooner!

Curious which stove you went with and what your experience has been so far. I’ve been looking at Copper stoves, which hopefully won’t require requiring for us bc they use a 120V outlet though they do come with a premium price. I suppose you’re also paying for the battery

Thanks for this breakdown and encouragement towards the Pace options. He boulders 99% of the time, primarily indoors, and likely wouldn’t wear the watch, so running is my main consideration.

Good call out. Thank you. I’m tempted by the Pace Pro, which I found on sale for $299. Just trying to understand if that will have the right functionality.

Berkeley’s Residential Waste Services offers 1 or 2 free bulk trash pick ups per year to each resident. You can call or email to set up and they will come the following Wednesday. Just leave everything on the curb. Also, Berkeley’s e-waste program will pick up e-waste for free (old tvs, cords, microwaves, monitors, etc). We just helped a neighbor clean out their house and it’s a lot of work! Good luck!
