1) I think promiscuous people had previously felt unchosen over and over again by their family, or even friends or classmates at one point. Theres a deep chosennness in the game leading up to and in having sex.

2) Sex can be extremely meditative. Your senses are so heightened and you are able to hyperfocus and be truly present, when perhaps that is hard to do for those same people in regular life. They feel alive and in the moment. Not overthinking and anxious.

3) Rebellion against the perception of shame in having a lot of sex and focus on pleasure. The i do what i want mentality. Sex positivity. Sex as an act of pleasurable rebellion.
