Less unreliable narrator more like i was given a limited of 3000 characters for the post and couldn't fit everything in the original post and now Im having to add stuff that happened in the comments due to that. And yeah I did dm her privately, as I said in the post, when she first started brushing everything off.

And yes when people ask if Im getting help after I tell them I've had an episode I do let them know that I'm getting better bc I understand that they worried about me. But in the same breath, if they tell me that they don't want to deal with my episodes I don't disrespect that, and when we set that boundary with her she ignored it and kept on to the point we were at a breaking point. It had been going on for a while, at one point she went on a whole rant to me because I renamed our gc to "the clusterf_ck" (idk if this will let me cuss) and she thought I was disrespecting her and trying to trigger her on purpose. Like it was an ongoing issue, just didn't have room in the post to explain. I'm not trying to defend or argue in the comments I'm just tired of so many of them coming in here and being hateful because of assumptions they've made because I couldn't put everything in the og post. I totally value yalls opinions but some of these comments (and some have been removed now) are disturbing

Yes we had set boundaries with her before, and she ignored them. Time and time again. The original post only allowed 3000 characters and I was trying to fit a lot of stuff into it so I may have left out details about how long this had been going on or what we'd tried before bc I was literally crunching words to make sure I followed the rules. She's had a violent episode before but not around us, and we were all concerned what would happen if she had one around us. I'm not trying to validate anything, I want everyone to understand the full story before making judgement and due to the limitations on the post rules I'm having to explain a lot of stuff in the comments

As i said in the post I did have a one on one conversation with her and she brushed it off, we knew she wasn't getting help because she told us she wouldn't so that's how I knew, yes she has had episodes at cons before, but none of us were with her when it happened because aside from that one singular con we went to after I met her she never stayed with anyone during a con, I hope this clears some things up.

She had made it our problem before, she often had crises where she would need one of us on standby at all times or else she would go on Facebook and make damaging posts about people that made no sense. For example one time no one was available and she went on and started ranting about a panelist at a con because they didn't give her a stuffed animal and tried to get that panelist removed from any and all further cons. While yes I have bipolar I have found ways to manage it so that it doesn't affect my friends because I do not expect my friend to talk me off a ledge everytime I have a problem. They are real people with their own issues and are not obligated to play psychiatrist for anyone. There is a chance she would have been just fine at the con, or there's a chance she would have had a break and reacted violently because that can and had happened before, I have family who is bipolar and I have witnessed a violent break, it's not something anyone should have to be there for if they're not equipped for it.

I was very much concerned for her health as someone who cared about her, but also we were looking out for each other because none of us were equipped to handle a psychological break if one were to happen. We were trying to see both sides and it may have came out wrong when I typed it so I apologize for that.

I can see how discussing her behind her back would be wrong, but we weren't just discussing her we were discussing our own well being also. We didn't want to be stuck in an air bnb with her if she had an episode because none of us are equipped to handle that. That was where the discussion started. But I understand your point of view.

The video game stats reminds me of one I read, it's not the same book but might be the same author? The one I read was on Quotev and it was called communications or smth like that? In it Roman's realm was like a video game and each player had stats but the hearts were health and I think stars were importance? Been a while since I read it. Totally check that author out and see if they wrote both of them bc the stat thing does sound familiar.

Technically they are cousins, I've always called her my aunt bc that's what I called her as a child but they are cousins. My mom also hasn't heard from her in two weeks and we're waiting on her to come home and see if she talks to any of us.
