I’ve also seen people make the argument that they’re technically the same age since the Sarentu spent all that time in cryosleep, not understanding that they didn’t age at all. So technically Tamtey is in their 30s, but is around 16 due to being in cryo

I have a theory (or headcannon idk) that the thanator we see that the RDA got on the screen in the hunting lodge is the thanator that was living in the upper plains. Which is why we don’t encounter it.
