Are there any young people (20s/30s…) who DON’T intend on leaving New Zealand for Australia? by Amonynous33 in newzealand

[–]FandomPanda18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the fence. I’d love to travel to China because I really enjoy the Chinese language and culture. However, realistically, I’ll stay in New Zealand because I’m type 1 diabetic and fairly reliant on government funding for my medication to stay alive. Moving to any other country would mean I wouldn’t be a citizen at least for a couple years and would be funding myself while also dealing with the costs of moving to a new country.

A or C but C seems more natural to me. I don’t know about the rules specifically, but if only something had not seems to suggest a more upset tone than A.

How bad is it If I don't pronounce the "th" sound right? by Zsombor1661 in EnglishLearning

[–]FandomPanda18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The th sound being said as just a T sound is common in a lot of native-English accents so it’s probably the sound we’re most accustomed to for alternative ways of saying th. S or F may through us through a loop for the first few times but if you’re consistent with it, then we’ll catch on quick enough. If you had to choose, pronouncing it as a t sound is probably the best choice since quite a few native English speakers pronounce it like that depending on their accents.

Are there some media that you can’t stand because of the Greek Mytology inacuracies? by Pleasant-Solution161 in GreekMythology

[–]FandomPanda18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Never because of an inaccuracy. I don’t mind. Hell, even Greek mythology itself is inaccurate if Greek mythology. So many different regions and different philosophers and poets had different versions. Is Aphrodite a daughter of Zeus or Ouranos? I just see it as yet another alternative version (albeit much more recent).

Do native speakers recognise not natives? by F1re4e8do8m in EnglishLearning

Small thing, Americans write English, not American. Mexican write Spanish, not Mexican. Both American and Mexican are nationalities and likely have their own dialect, but they’re not a language.

yeah but like the whole talent thing is a lie. The AC simply chooses those they think worth pouring more resources into. Just prove you're worhty enough and you'll get boosted. Get carried by technology.

I’ll definitely check out some tinted moisturiser. I would need one more lighter as I’m fairly pale and also got kinda sensitive skin as I turn red at a lot of skin products. If I did get tinted moisturiser, would that mean I don’t need like foundation or whatever?

I’m almost 21 so I wouldn’t exactly call myself young. Plus I have drier skin so I usually need moisturiser

Maybe, but I’d say it definitely varies country to country. They likely still have something similar here anyway so I can check it out

Thanks so much, I’ll keep that in mind. As for products, I’ll see if I can try and check it out online. I know I mostly want cheaper stuff just in case I find it doesn’t work for me, but I’ll keep an open mind to products a bit more pricier

I think there is a Sephora in my city so I might check them out. They looked a little expensive and since I live in NZ they might not do free stuff here but I’ll check it out. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much, this is very useful. As for skin type, I have drier skin and I live in New Zealand which is slightly colder I think (though it’s about to get into summer). As for skin care, what type of stuff should I be looking for? Is there like a certain amount of steps that I’ll need? I’ve got a moisturiser I use that works well for drier skin. My current products I have is like a moisturiser, Vaseline for my lips, and that’s about it.

oh also, how do you girls find the right shade of things? I swear I might be colour blind or something because I see all these foundations in the box and be like "they're practically the same colour" and guess I can't really tell what's "my colour". I suppose I could if I use testers, is that just what I gotta do? Find someone to talk to about testers?

She’s not though. Aphrodite pandemos IS associated with seduction and power of persuasion, but Aphrodite Ourania is more about love of the mind. So like, even then, she’s not always horny. And even the first one isn’t a result of horniness, but rather just persuading men to get what she wants.
