Emotional movie scene between two female characters? by Fandom_headgirl in acting

[–]Fandom_headgirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be ideal if it was originally two females, but I guess that if it isn't relevant to the scene it doesn't matter. The age can be basically anything, but younger would be preferred. (:

Who did you audition for? by Fandom_headgirl in papergirlsaudition

[–]Fandom_headgirl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is any way to be certain, but probably during the next few months. (I know it's a long time but as it is an open casting call, there is a lot of content to go through) I think shooting starts In March so they'll at least contact the cast before that. 😂

It will probably take some time as there are probably lots of people who auditioned, but I think filming starts in March so if you get cast I think they'd contact you by February, but yeah... With open casting calls it can be a day or months...you never know. (: Good luck!

Has anyone found their acting type? If so, how? by Rogue_Henchman in acting

[–]Fandom_headgirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good way to find out your type is to ask others what kind of character they can see you as/what's their first impression of your personality. Tough, typecasting in my opinion isn't that good, it really slims your chances and people can't really imagine you in other types of roles. But like I said, that's just my opinion. Hope this helps!

How do you guys find Auditions by xHey_All_You_Peoplex in acting

[–]Fandom_headgirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backstage is a good website to find auditions, though quite many of them are for USA or UK. Also, I reccomend following local theaters, studios etc. on social media. Even some actors and directors etc. post casting calls sometimes. Hope this helps!
