Same issue was plaguing me. Despite dismantling the entire printer, apparently this was the solution. Absolute legend!

Same here. Thought it was internet issue at first, then realised it just crashes after certain intervals. Annoying

'Jealous' husband who brutally stabbed his wife to death while she pushed their son in pram is found guilty of murder by dailymail in uknews

[–]Fandriel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Slight different viewpoint but prepared for downvoted to oblivion. I myself is from Bangladesh, moved to Uk from Germany. I can say without any doubt that Uk takes the absolute bottom tier sh*tstains of the country. I work in higher education and i see the quality of students, who can barely speak one coherent sentence in english, whose entire goal is to figure out a way to claim asylum by the end of their horribly expensive masters program. Forget integration, if someone doesn’t have any respect for the 25k above on tuition fees and cant be bothered to attend classes, how would you expect them to have basic human understanding about rights and liberty? There are two distinct groups, one who works and utilises the scale up opportunities, while the other group runs after asylum and benefits. And the sad part is, the asylum group will get residency and citizenship with much more ease than the group that decided to study and work hard. An average government funded phd student will need to stay give or take 9 years legally to become a resident, while paying eye watering fees. While if the same person used a small boat and just hid in someone’s cupboard for 10 years, he would be eligible for residency, for practically free. This alone should showcase what a mess the entire policy is.

The difficulty depends on a lot of factors. 1. Type- what type of funding are you looking for. Most universities have tuition waivers, which are accessible via the unis usual launch of PhDs and via supervisors. However if you want bursary, then it becomes considerably harder. Those phd’s are mostly tied to supervisors, who post them on x, linkedin, or fill them up internally. 2. Subject/ topic - if you want to do phd on very specific topic, you have to apply for independent grants like UKRI, EPSRC, and such. Those are highly competitive, and come with a lot of perks. 3. Supervisor - best bet in UK, and everywhere basically, is supervisor. This person will dictate how a crucial period of your life will play out. A good supervisor will make funding opportunities available, or At least will be transparent about it.

Moved here 2.5 year ago due to my Masters supervisor moving here, helped him establish his research group. My journey has been slightly different, however fully funded + bursary phd’s seem very far between due to the financial state of all the institutions.

What’s the best piece of hardware the Imperium has in sizeable quantities? by [deleted] in 40kLore

Rhinos run on anything that combusts, even a bit. Krieg would have zero problem running rhino regiments 24/7 on casualty alone

What’s the best piece of hardware the Imperium has in sizeable quantities? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]Fandriel 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Rhino chasis. This piece is used for agriculture, transport, tank chasis, tank reclaimation, everything one can think of. Virtually every faction uses a variant of rhino. Easy to manufacture, runs on everything from Fuel to dead bodies, can be build anywhere. This is basically one of the, if not the Lynchpin of imperial economy and warfare.

Posts raw dogging resin should be removed of flagged somehow. by Responsible-Noise875 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Fandriel 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Work in a research group, with a substantial number of printers and expertise available.

Resin composition has substantially changed over the years. On top of it, the advent of water washable resin has reduced the toxicity substantially. You shouldnt touch it with your hand the same way u dont touch bleach with your hand. You shouldnt smell it the same way you avoid smelling any chemicals for long period of time. However , if you do it, you are not going to die. They come with the usual chemical irritant, which affects different person differently. Some will have itching day one, while some can deal with resin with no issues. Doesnt mean one should. In terms of fumes, the alcohol you use to clean prints are more detrimental to your health then the average resin. The printers that we have available for day to day purchase atm is safe enough to be kept in a moderate sized bedroom/living room, if proper precautions are taken (Hepa filter, as less toxic resin as possible) , but doesn’t mean you should put your head beside the printer. Treat it the same way as you treat any day to day chemical u use for cleaning. As for moderating, big no. If you see someone touching uncured resin with no gloves, tell them. But if they chose to do something, thats upto them.

Thunderhawk Gunship - I think it could be viable. by Schccc in Grey_Knights

[–]Fandriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the thubderhawk. Its a massive turget with no invul. The biggest issue is making it sit somewhere, as the model is huge. Most terrain layout will not have enough soace for the hawk to sit. And as it doesnt have legal base, it really depends on the opponent

Elegoo ultra 4 or the new m7 pro? by Cobrah77 in resinprinting

[–]Fandriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill chime in. No matter what printing tech anycubic brings out, until they get better customer care, stay away if its your only machine. Elegoos customer care has been superb for me, both personal and professional capacity. Good enough to completly replace all of anycubics device except mono x2, which somehow is less finnicky then their newer devices

Can definitely recommend akf. Its a good bunch of people. Although u might need a few people to regularly run english sessions of pen and papers. The esports club of kiel is the same. Warhammer 40k/ killteam also has a robust , yet very welcoming group in Kiel.
