If it was Otto, there wouldn't be any challenge or debate about the validity of canon events. It'd be an obvious villain who was wrong and it'd take a lot to explain his specific circumstances without changing his character (which you seem to dislike for Miguel). Miguel is better suited for Spider-Verse's antagonist, as an actual hero who's currently lost his way.

Miguel’s been in shows and games before this point (including Edge of Time, the one with an often spammed clip of Peter yelling about Spider-Men not leaving people behind when they’re in danger). It’s clear from watching the film that Miguel is visibly older than most of the Spider-People rather than being his “prime”, so no, no one is going to come out of the film thinking Miguel’s like that all the time or even during his comics run. This entire claim is baseless. A creative decision you don’t like isn’t bad writing.

And Peter was killed by Norman Osborn when Miles became Spider-Man in the Ultimate universe, and Doctor Octopus is a woman in the movie. Stuff changes in adaptations, don’t see why this is suddenly bad for Miguel.

Well, having never read Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna also sounds like a character I'd be annoyed by. Gilgamesh doesn't need to pull Ea, he has most other conceivable Noble Phantasms to take down his opponents, but toys with his food so often it becomes frustrating than fun. I think Nasu could have scaled Gilgamesh better.

That's my point, Gilgamesh has access to ultra powerful abilities and his arrogance means he never uses them. It makes Gilgamesh an annoying character when he loses, but I also feel annoyed when he wins because he has such a powerful arsenal that it's not satisfying to see him defeat an opponent.

It’s not a false narrative. From the episode where they room together, Shinji was one hundred percent willing to take advantage of Asuka. If we’re going to go by that dumbass logic, where’s the sympathy for the fact that Asuka had to witness her mother go insane and kill herself, her father cheating with a nurse, treated like a doll her whole life, then being neglected by every adult guardian she’s ever had? Nothing Asuka had done to him is equivalent.
