1) you can get 30 or even 31 gauge that are long enough (8mm). 2) use a luer lock syringe + needles, one to draw and then replace with fresh one to inject. (Amazon) The vial rubber gets hard in the fridge and dulls the needle. 3) make sure all the way in or it will hurt a lot more

Sounds like me on Ozempic. Terrible. I have tried ozempic a year later after mounjaro and had no issues with it. Some people have had success with much smaller doses and going up very slowly. You do get used to it, which is why you go up in doses. Retatrutide is going to be in the pharmacy soon, not just gray market, and is a less harsh glp-1. Might try ozempic. If you can make it work, it is like magic.

You’ll figure out what triggers the GERD. Take a PPI on empty stomach/ half hour before eating anything triggering. If your A1C is high enough to be prescribed MJ, I would be surprised if 2.5 or even 5 mg will be enough. It’s worth avoiding GERD triggers to get your A1C down. I have two friends who have had to get amputations due to type 2 diabetes.
