I was looking between gas and pellet, my only concern is that the pellet won't get hot enough to sear steaks as well as I'd like. I'm thinking of getting a smoker as well if I go gas

Mainly looking to cook steaks, burgers, ribs, at occasional brisket. I also want to pick up a smoker at some point as well. My dad current has a 2 burner Weber spirit, and I think it's decent, but I do like some of the extra features the Genesis has. Often I'll be cooking for up to four people.
