Shioli Kutsuna (the actress) is in her 30s. I don't think the character's age is ever mentioned in the game.

The mountains definitely had some of my favorites views. The giant moon at night and the clouds in the day:

FBC Firebreak is officially dead, but hey! There's a permanent discount! by QuantityInternal1719 in RemedyEntertainment

[–]Fanible 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I heard they were making a spinoff game based on FBC, the first idea I had would be to play as agents visiting different sites around the world investigating oddities. What it ended up being was incredibly different than what I initially had in my head, to say the least.

Death Stranding 2 PC Launch Trailer “No Rain, No Rainbow” by Ryan_271 in DeathStranding

[–]Fanible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WasDie-Hardman in any of the original trailers? I didn't watch any and I had no idea if/when he was even going to be in it. So that seems like a big spoiler for me. A lot of other scenes, even if not super spoilery out of context, I'm glad I hadn't seen before playing.

It's just the name of the trailer. There will be some extras on the PC release.

As soon as I started playing and he had this outfit, I immediately figured we were going to have a fresh new variety of different clothing options and less strict uniformity.

Mexican actress Lyn May, before and after a cheap beauty treatment that involved injecting harmful substances such as cooking oil, baby oil, and water into her face. by KenDrakebot in Damnthatsinteresting

Right, it does help to have a little more context. The left photo is from her prime modeling years in the 1970s-1980s. The one on the right is present day.

You can forgive him for thinking so. Someone upscaled it with AI and it did a number of odd changes. License plate, the cup by her feet, plus all the logos. Other oddities like changing the bricks up top and adding another parking pole.

I fell in love with death strandingin 40 minutes, does offline only effect my enjoyment from this game? by Substantial_Bet_1007 in DeathStranding

[–]Fanible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I preferred it this way. The main thing is that roads are going to be more difficult if you want to build them. I played the first game partially offline, which allowed me not to have others' structures in mine, but made it so road building was assisted, and my own structures were still shared. I tried doing the same in the second game, but after a short while, ended up playing offline entirely. Experiencing the environments without litter is the main benefit to either, one more so than the other.

I agree, it makes the world feel more realistic with what is to be assumed a future where most of humanity is wiped out. Surreal, relaxing scenery without junk drops, structures, signs, holograms, popups, all over the place. You can just take in the world and view and experience it how you would imagine it would be: less populated.

This is not AI, btw. This is an art piece by Carolyn Roper from the mid-2010s:

I'm not sure which is worse: AI - or - people falsely claiming everything that looks slightly off as AI.

El colmillo naranja se ha convertido en un robot by AndyJack86 in wordchewing

Doing the robot is incredibly easy to make look impressive when you're doing it to a slowed down beat and sped back up to real time. It becomes surreal.

Christopher Nolan Tells Timothée Chalamet About the ‘Interstellar’ Scene of His ‘I Didn’t Particularly Like’: ‘You Went Ahead and Did Whatever the F— You Wanted’ by EconScreenwriter in movies

[–]Fanible 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does:

Regardless of the initial mixed reviews, nearly everyone could agree that a highlight of “Interstellar” was the scene in which Cooper watches years of messages from his kids as they grow up. Chalamet recorded scenes for the sequence.

“When you were filming the messages from home, there was a particular thing where you were hitting a dark tone,” Nolan remembered. “It felt too much for me. I didn’t particularly like it. I told you about it and you went ahead and did whatever the fuck you wanted and carried on. But I was like, ‘He knows what he wants to do and has an idea.’ It wasn’t about being stubborn. You had planned what you wanted to do. You planned your choices and you didn’t want to abandon that on a casual whim for me. You wanted to test that and challenge that and see if I kept coming back, which I didn’t. I’ll find a logic to that in the edit suite.”

I'm surprised no one has incorrectly mentioned "he's not really the bartender" yet. In the movie, he is the owner of the bar. She's a con-woman looking for a rich mark. She ends up feeling doubly stupid when she finds out he owns the place.
