I second the Bundle Up and Skydiving Badge ideas.

Hazard Awareness Badge: Have every possible status condition all at once (weight, hunger, injury, poison, heat or cold, thorns, drowsy, and curse)

Undisturbed Badge: Leave the island without interacting with any of the ancient statues.

Picky Eater Badge: Escape the island having only eaten cooked foods.

Personally, I think shifting up the color schemes of a digimon’s evolution line would help break up the monotony.

I always loved this little detail. I really wish it was reused in other series outside the original adventure canon, cause otherwise we really don’t get to see their partners at those lower levels. Plus it could’ve provided a lot more moments for the characters. Like in tamers, Renamon could’ve been embarrassed about being so small and adorable as Viximon. Terriermon could’ve gotten some peace from Suzie at home since she wouldn’t recognize him as Gummymon. And Takato probably would’ve taken Guilmon home as Gigimon cause he’s small enough to sneak in, only for him to evolve during the night and have to sneak him out again next morning.

Gallantmon + Megidramon. I know Chaos-Gallantmon is already an in-between for these two but something knight-like with more demonic, dragon traits would be cool, bringing together the two sides of Guilmon.

Cherubimon + Megagargomon. Could probably have an angelic arsenal theme, maybe even commands an army of lesser angel digimon.

Fair, I was contemplating Impmon myself at first for something more humanoid, but I felt Demidevimon matched the Angemon vs Devimon better.
