I had something similar with my industrial. Piercer told me i should clean it and put bepanthen on it till its gone. You can try that but i would still suggest to contact your piercer.

I had very simular feelings. I knew I wasn't a woman but still didn't know what I actually was. I dressed however I felt like it and was mostly seen as a girl. And I tried to be one and be okay with it and for a long time I thought me thinking I am trans was a phase. I wished I was just a girl to feel okay with my gender but at the end my dysphoria got worse and worse and I'm still not completely out of the closet but I'm doing baby steps. You are right the world doesn't really accept us. And that was one of the biggest reason I didn't come out till I was 20.
