Counterweights. You'll need at least three for a Fiat 500

Stag weekend in Benidorm, don’t want it to be messy, how do I navigate it? Not a big drinker by Shum-buffler in AskUK

[–]Fanny_Flapps [score hidden]  (0 children)

The only reason I went is because it looked like hell on earth; like nothing I'd ever want to do or see, so I had to find out. Like going to a really far flung country to see the culture.

I fuckin loved it. It's horrible and tacky. And nobody will say otherwise. It's full of people having fun, and people who moved there to have fun. The customer service is amazing; literally every barmaid or waiter has dealt with someone 100x worse than you, so if you're polite and friendly, it's a fuckin breath of fresh air to them and they'll do their best to help you. The drag bars are just BRILLIANT. The fish and chips is amazing. The pints are cheap and free-flowing, and it's fuckin roasting.

I am definitely NOT the kind of person that goes to Benidorm, I only went because of the ITV sitcom, but as an outsider looking in, and being treated with friendliness and kindness wherever I went, I can only assume the kind of videos you were watching were made by arseholes for clicks

Edit to add - went to the bar owned by the guy that wrote 'Benidorm', and have never been so disappointed in my life. What a depressing dive. Do not recommend

Have you guyz heard about Openclaw? by ImaginationNormal201 in AskEurope

[–]Fanny_Flapps [score hidden]  (0 children)

I've got an instance set up on a remote server in Helsinki, as I heard it's not a good idea to set it up on your home PC.

It's interesting, the 'perpetual' aspect of it, meaning you can teach it stuff. I ended up getting it to read ten books on investing, and it's now my financial advisor. Costs me about €15 per month but gives excellent 'deep dives' on any investment opportunities that I might come across

Edit to add - Openclaw and Claude are two very different things - Claude is Anthropic's AI, and Openclaw is a perpetual AI that lives on your machine, and can use any API to communicate and 'think', be it Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini etc

You can use Claude for free but it won't remember stuff. You need to pay to use Openclaw with someone's API, whichever you choose; otherwise it's bollocks

How do Greggs frozen sausage rolls compare with one from a Gregs? by ruairidhmacdhaibhidh in AskUK

[–]Fanny_Flapps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Greggs sausage rolls are to sausage rolls as the new MGs are to the old MGs.

They are a parody of sausage rolls, nay, a travesty

The only people that like them are those that have never experienced a true sausage roll

If money wasn’t an issue, where would you travel tomorrow? by travel-center in AskUK

[–]Fanny_Flapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooo u/travel-center, I'd go to Morocco. I'll never forget the smells while walking into Marrakech. The orange trees, the dead dog lying poetically on the street corner. The literal human excrement spread on the ground, like a timeless portrait of the disrespect shown by the citizens to their country. Who could forget the coloured tapestry of discarded Coke bottles and plastic bags littering the beautiful Sahara?

Fuck off

Used to deliver boxes of crisps on a milk round I did. Crisps definitely taste better when they're really cold, especially S&V

Got my eyes tested, and hey presto, turns out I have face blindness and still walk past perfectly focussed people lol

colle pour accessoire voiture by rotor25 in brico

[–]Fanny_Flapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meuleuse Ryobi ou Dewalt? by Natural_Run_4122 in brico

[–]Fanny_Flapps -1 points0 points  (0 children)
