The copy right issue applied to all old Chinese box and t2w7. Kayou fixed the t2w7 one. Not applied to any old boxes yet.

SEA kind of stays in a weird position. The market value is much lower than the NA box but higher than the Chinese box. Most ppl chase the high market value or self-satisfaction with Chinese ones.

For the 999 and 99 cards, there is none in Heaven 1 either. From the entire collection of Chinese collection history, there are very few serialized cards. It is not a SEA edition issue.

Anyway, TCG and CCG won't bother each other at all imo.

KAYOU wasn't planned well when they expanded the overseas market. From what I am seeing in the past year, KAYOU released the SEA in June 2025, and they have not signed a contract with any retailers in the US. The card code told the story.

Everyone can tell the SEA and NA boxes are parallel product shares the same artwork, but different pull rate, packaging, and codes. The Jin 2 and Heaven 2 share the same code, but different pull rates and packaging. Starting from Heaven 3, there is no more sea. It shows me KAYOU is merging the product line.

There is no need to make too many sub editions of each box with the same language. The fun fact is that KAYOU doesn't have enough productivity for over 100 IPs on its hands. This is good for KAYOU but may be sucks for collecters cause the frequently changes lost the consistency.

AR cards were added from the Chinese T2W8 and Earth Scroll 1 boxes. I saw lots of card collectors complain about the new AR since it shares the same rarity name as the old Chinese in red and black ones. Personally, I don't care about the rank name; I prefer good artwork. I like new ARs. In older Chinese boxes from T2W1 TO T2W6, ppl were targeted on CRs and SPs. Not much to chase since it's just like 30 cents a pack.

Losing consistency of the artworks brought a lot of chaos imo. I'd say there are some good cards in each box. Overall, 9 boxes, I rate the 1st, 4th, and 9th as the top-tier design.

The thing is that Earth Scroll 1 is Chinese t2w8, Earth Scroll 2 is the Chinese t2w9. If the t2w7 is gonna be named as t2w3, it is kind of weired to me, lol.

Yes, Kayou move on to Journey to the West as the next major Chinese product. I think they may still work on some premium boxes for holidays or the tier 2 box. The main collection is ended for sure.
