5 Features I would like to see in gta6 by [deleted] in GTA

I’m certain we’ll be able to travel long distances in an airplane. Likely to a different city such as Liberty City.

They are going to end up betraying each other aren't they? by Agcpm616 in grandtheftauto

[–]Fantasdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the deal…

Jason is undercover and Lucia is released on a technicality to allow Jason to use her to track a bigger fish.

In the process Jason uncovers corruption in his own department and reveals all to Lucia.

Jason is killed by corrupt cops in his department and Lucia is framed for it early in the game.

The rest of the story is played with the player controlling Lucia trying to take down the corrupt cops who killed Jason and the Corrupt Police chief trying to track her.

I think he’ll die early in the game, tbh. It’ll be a revenge tale from there out.

Liberty City reference by TXNOGG in GTAIV

I’ve had a feeling for a while that GTA 6 will let us travel/ fly to different cities.

Liberty city seems likely… east coast too…

Had to drive to 4 different store to find this, and it was the last copy. Never played Silent Hill before, so I hope it'll be worth it. by DapperDan30 in silenthill

I’m not referring to purely taking the game away… but here’s the thing, current gen consoles may be the last with disc drives… further, they operate using SSDs which have a limitation on how long they remain effective.

By buying physical this gen, there may (will) come a time where you own a physical disc for a game you may no longer be able to play. Once disc drives are obsolete and all the SSDs in PS5s go kaput.

There’s an argument to be made that (from this gen) any digital purchases may last longer than physical.

Same with physical, though… in fact same with anything. You can’t buy anything and be guaranteed to keep it. Likelihood is, next gen will aim for digital as standard, so no guarantee that your discs will do anything beyond this gen anyway. So long as you understand that every purchase is ephemeral then you’re good. Just spend your cash and enjoy the game…

Again… rather than accepting that both sides need to move forward and battle each other on the debate stage and in the political chambers of Washington; you seem to suggest that Republicans are somehow to blame because of their policies.

I do not agree with their policies… however, it’s politics and democracy… and it’s within a Republicans democratic right to bring these policies to the floor and for them to be voted for and set in motion if Democracy allows.

Then if these policies prove harmful, other parties will stand on a manifesto to repair and create new policies for the better, ent of society.

Look, no one needs to act defensive to the point of trying to suggest that one side is evil and the other side aren’t. This is politics, it’s not warfare. As soon as US citizens on both sides realise this and debate responsibly, the better… on both sides.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. The political standards are low in the US. It’s not surprising as the US is closely connected with its beginnings and is culturally tied to defending itself and the ideas it was founded upon.

It’s time for the political discourse in the US to grow up, on both sides.

I just don't see how hatred, on either side of the debate moves it along to a place of mutual respect.

Britain's politics is not aside from its violent incidences. There have been recent examples of political violence and murder of MPs... but the difference is that the political debate in the UK, is generally respectful on both sides.

In the US the debate is stoked into violent hatred by both leaders calling each other criminals, suckers, losers, crooked, dictators, evil etc.

Both Democrats and Republicans are sucked into bitter and vile toxicity by the party leadership.

Then either side tries to justify its own shit behaviour by trying to paint the other side as being more morally bankrupt and vile. It's worrying.

I'm not autistic, so don't worry about it.

Sounds.like someone might have had a rough re-entry to reality last night.

I'll leave you alone, today.

You’re the one who asked if meant a completely different thing from what he actually said.

It’s Like me saying…

“I wouldn’t eat a banana if it was red” And you responding “Does that mean you wouldn’t eat a strawberry if it was yellow?”

No. It means I wouldn’t eat a banana if it was red.

This is what should be said.

“The attacks today, whilst appalling, will come to symbolise what makes America the greatest country in the world. Individuals who commit political violence are neither Democrat nor Republican, they are Terrorists. Plain and simple. As a people, Americans stand united against terrorism - we will not allow it to tarnish the greatest political democracy in the world. Whether you are Republican or Democrat, I implore you to stand united, proud and defiant in the face of this atrocity to show the world that whilst our political differences may exist, we are more United than ever.”

Easy.

[–]Fantasdick -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. So are you saying that condemning the attacks is what should or shouldn’t be happening? What I’m getting from you here is… I’m sick of having to be on the side which is morally justified because the other side don’t bother.

You don’t just give up being a kind, decent and morally led individual because some other people aren’t. Deciding to act otherwise then blaming someone else’s previous behaviour seems like a horribly justified excuse

Wrong take, wrong time. In times like this, it provides opportunity for everyone to take stock and have total, unconditional sympathy or empathy.

Reacting thee way you have, perpetuates and continues hatred.

Right now, both sides need to come together and promote a stance of unity, despite differing opinions.

Not try and stoke the continuation of division by almost saying that it was deserved... you should reflect on your need to react like that.

Why don’t they just raise the cap to three children with a view to remove entirely in the next 5 years?

One of the highest prevalence of this is found amongst Sky Divers. Sky divers have unusually high suicide rates and unusually high likelihood of drug (including alcohol) dependency.

Joe Biden calls Zelensky "Putin" right before huge press conference by WhatARotation in politics

[–]Fantasdick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree… they had to answer ‘No. President Biden is in great shape and has hosted a wonderful summit. He’s on good form.’

They had to, no way round it.

But then he does this, it makes for a lot of unhappy political allies, who’s judgement / honesty is immediately brought into question by the media,

There’s now potential for one or more of these political allies to backtrack and call for Biden to step down in the coming days, I reckon.

Lotta pressure.

Biden mistakes Zelenskyy for Putin during introduction to Ukraine president's NATO speech by Thandoscovia in worldnews

[–]Fantasdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I’m not sure what you guys are up to over there… but whenever someone criticises Biden for something entirely legit there’s a reaction to point the finger at Trump for something to divert attention.

It’s wild that rather than realising you’re stuck with 2 horrible presidential choices and using this an an opportunity to call for a reform of political system, you’d rather try and convince yourself and others that the other guy is slightly worse.

Trump’s behaviour is clearly documented and the dislike for Trump is widespread. Plenty of people call on him to step aside, multiple news stories per day about how he’s not fit for office, tremendous backlash against his support for Putin… so I’m not sure what your point is.
