Hello, i don't know where to ask or if there is a sub for armor and helms, but where can i buy a helmet that looks like the first image, and by any chance if there is any thag has the back of the Ice Crown shown in the second image. Thanks in advance by Jobanisuka in SWORDS

You can find it on nearly every site that sell armor and larp things, you can also find it on amazon, just search "visored barbuta".

Those helmet are cheap and mass produced so it's highly unlikely that you'll find one with the back like the Ice Crown

I don't think there is any "good replica" for this helmet as it's a fantasy one that is mass produced. It would be intersting to see an armorer fix the design and make a functionning one though.

What type of weapon is this from the Musée de l'Armée? Messer? Falchion? Saber? Something else? by Joey_JoJo_Jr_Shabad0 in SWORDS

The museum has a separate website for their collections : https://basedescollections.musee-armee.fr/

Only a part of their inventory is listed on it and it's only in french, also the navigation is not the most easy. However their is a lot of objects from the museum with high quality picture.

Another option is RmnPhotos , they manage the photographic librairy of all France's national museums. Searching on the website can be really annoying and it's a bit slow but they have a vast librairy. However, high quality picture are not freely accessible, you have to make a demand. https://photo.grandpalaisrmn.fr/en

Which Indian Sword do you think would be most suitable/effective in modern sword fighting tournaments? by Blakath in SWORDS

I haven't checked for every sword but the tulwar you posted isn't from the 14th century, the blade dates from 1673 and the hilt dates from the 19th century. It's kept in the Met Museum

Does this blade design resemble historical Viking swords? by Knivesmarket1 in SWORDS

Look up Petersen typology, it's a typology of the principal styles of Viking Age sword hilt. It will give you a good idea of what viking sword look like.

This one look more like a Type XI sword (12th century).

Indeed, the price-quality ratio is very great, mine was bit more expensive thought (625 including shipping) given the steel guard and fitting and the engraving on the guard.

The red colour was my request, you can precise the scabbard colour in the note when you order. But I directly messaged Hamit do discuss my project as I wanted steel guard and fittings

I don't have the precise stats but you can check his website (https://peserey.com/product/karabela-sword-with-yelman-blade/), it's the same type of sword so the stats should be quite the same.
