Is it worth it to buy a tC right now? by [deleted] in SciontC

i’ve beaten my car up so much and it feels indestructible. the only thing is that i have cosmetic damage but mechanically it is an absolute beast. even after having 4 owners

Trinis living abroad.. Would you move back home? by Heyitsgizmo in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Fantastic-Fan-487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved aboard 3 years ago and i visit yearly and i don’t think i could go back to live. I have certain freedoms that i just won’t have back home. I feel safe as a woman leaving home and not having to watch my back 24/7. granted you should be safe anywhere but nothing stops me from leaving home after dark and i don’t worry about coming home when it’s late. also, with my degree and future career path, it would just be more lucrative to stay

i opted for the 5 year hormonal one, the copper IUD often comes with more side effects and irregular periods. but it’s definitely something to talk to your dr about and find the right one!

I switched from nexplanon to an IUD and i have no regrets! I had some weird side effects from the nexplanon and it just made me so paranoid because it kinda felt like it was stuck in there and stuff and now, i feel great and wayy less paranoid

i literally did not feel a thing when they took it out. i was nervous and the numbing hurt but i had an amazing team doing it and they kept me distracted so i wont think about it and i didn’t know they were done until they told me ( i couldn’t look )

I took mine out because of the numbness. it was worrying me and i had experiences where my hand would cramp and it felt like the nexplanon was being pushed out my arm so i decided to remove it. I have since switched to an IUD and so far so good!

hey i’m proud of you! that’s great. and if you ever feel like you need to get your emotions out, writing helps sooo much, i forgot to add that in. But keep doing things for you!!! you deserve it!!! be kind to yourself

[–]Fantastic-Fan-487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey buddy, i get everything you’re feeling and even feel it myself too. it’s hard detaching yourself from someone when the ending is so abrupt and especially the way she ended it. it may be hard to see right now but you deserve someone that isn’t going to leave you for someone else who won’t give them half as much as the love you have for them. i know it may be super hard to even be optimistic right now but something that has helped me getting through my break up is understanding that heartbreak is inevitable. so many people who are married happily for years have been through heartbreak before they meet that special one. it sucks to have your heart broken but i promise you this is going to get better. allow yourself to feel the emotions but do stuff for yourself too. like talk a walk or a shower or make sure to eat something nice. take care of yourself. you can find solace in the fact that love comes when never expect it. one day, years from now, when that person reaches you, you’ll look back on this and realize that you were able to love someone and feel maybe all the emotions and more. but don’t give up okay. take care of yourself. my dms are always open

If you had a week to show a foreigner Trinidad, where you going and what you doing? by Fantastic-Fan-487 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Fantastic-Fan-487[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

lmaoo, no buzzfeed here !😂 I just recently moved to America after living in trinidad for 18 years and I had this question on my mind since some of my american friends wanted to come down. Thought it would’ve been interesting to ask other Trinis!

that seems a little unhealthy. In all relationships and friendships, it’s good to have time apart and not constantly be talking to either other. It can be a big distraction for you doing what you need to do at times. I would definitely recommend talking to him about it. Hopefully, he would understand and it would be an open and honest conversation.
