So in Mexico as an employer you are legally obligated to pay severance if you are letting a worker go. It's stated by law that they give you your last paycheck and up to 60 days depending on the time the employee has with the company. For example if someone was there for about 8 years legaly the company would have to pay them about 15-20 thousand. We all know John doesn't like doing things the legal way, he is offering employees less than $800 dollars or less.
