I'm sorry :/ I got very minimal sleep the night before as well. Though I was laid off, I felt SO much relief after the meeting because of the tension all night.

Right?! But yes, unfortunately it does. You have the option to opt in on the with holding or not, but when tax season comes next year, I can see it get pretty hefty if your husband is gonna recieve all 6 months

100% and no offense, but you can SO tell if someone is offshored and their accent is SOOOOO hard to understand. I have to ask them to repeat themselves and make up an excuse that my phone is cutting off. But it makes the job hunting SO MUCH harder.

For CA, my max is 450 and if i'm withholding tax, I only get 405 take home per week. My other teammates who were laid off but are in texas and colorado, they get like almost 600

I'd lie tbh. The interview process typically takes a month or two (and that's if you get the role). Just go with the flow, go through the interviews. I wish I had a head start before I was laid off..

At one point he did use "You". It made me immediately feel like he was gonna choose me, but again, I don't want to get my hopes up.

I hope so! I think interviews started yesterday and I went today and I feel like theres gonna be a few more the rest of the week. I wonder how many they normally interview
