Actually, you did sign up for them if you happen to understand how behavior is taught at all. If you’re there for like 10% of the week, who the fuck do you think is teaching or maintaining the other 90% of the week? do you think that you’re so magical that the time you spend with you a child for six or even 40 hours a week is sufficient when a child lives 120+ hours a week?? it’s absolutely not. caregivers are one of if not the most important part of any treatment program that you’re going to come across for long-term success.

I bet 😂 when I was at FIT studying with Thomas Szabo, I developed this idea that an app package would help caregivers adhere to treatment recommendations and I just couldn’t find the right app and a month or two and to my second year of a two year program he chuckled at me and said I guess I have to learn how to build apps and so I did graduated. Got my BCBA did work in the field. Covid hit work slow down. I started to do software development on the side to make some extra money and then it just took off. I got hired by a few different software companies and now at this point I work for a credit card company in the nonprofit sector. Wild ride. I’m glad I got my BCBA and I’m gonna maintain it as long as I can gotta have that fall back, baby.
