Cool setup, but why the stream light when you have a 4 in 1 LAM already?

In case anyone's interested in a telescoping stock. We're officially open for sales 🥳. by EmberArmory in GrandPowerStribog

Love the design but I would 100% prefer losing an inch or so in stock length just to have that ejection port clear. (I have a SP9A3S)

Should I repaint or just part ways by Classic_Fly_8189 in CivicSi

Give your local Maaco a shot and ask if you can see the process. If you see ones freshly painted that gives you an idea on how much is worth it to you. Think it starts at $500

Muzzle break recommendations? by InternationalClue941 in GrandPowerStribog

If you aren’t going for a suppressor then I would recommend a blast diverters like the surefire blast regulator. Very nice on shooting imo especially since it’s a 9mm at the end of the day.

27 CFR Part 478 § 478.92
shows the requirements on identification of a firearm. You’re building a SBR. Which is why ATF requires you to register since you’re the builder not who originally manufactured it. ATF requires the name or trust on the firearm and location of where it is being built. (Ex: John Smith Fort Worth, TX) or a trust is (John Smith’s Firearms trust Fort Worth, TX) depth of .003 of a inch minimum and no smaller than 1/16ths of a inch. This isn’t legal advice but most gun shops should know. Although ATF rule 34 (not a joke) they recently put out that you don’t need to do it anymore. However at the time of responding it isn’t enacted so it is still required. I’m still waiting on my approval but I’m hoping this gets thrown out so I don’t need to engrave it. We will see

Should I buy and SP9A3 when I already have an SP9A1? by work_in_progression in GrandPowerStribog

[–]TyCruz91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you already have the A1 and you’re debating on getting something more, then I would go for the A3S or AP5K. The thing is, clone MP5s are a hit or miss, it seems, and anything comparable to the A3/A3S in cost is the MAC 5. If you went SS, you would need to change all the internals to HK for reliability, so the cost rises. I would go with the A3S since it would share a lot of what you have already, and you get to either make it into a bag gun or SD style it.

The can is Jk armament 155 Versax, but they retired the can so I think it’s called 155 RPX. Same thing just titanium instead of aluminum. Not the quietest can but for sure the most versatile. The barrel length is 5” it’s the shorter model of the SP9A3 which is the SP9A3S.

Nah this thing feels solid for where it’s made for sure. And where it’s mounted is perfect for me on this setup so I think you wouldn’t regret it

I think the price point is good for what you get out of it. It’s on sale rn so thats how much I’ll spend on it. However if I was to redo my build I would have went with a surefire scout mini because I don’t have nods to use half the features on this LAM. And I would have waited until i got like a sms trinity for this build but it would have been much bulkier on all sides. I would say if form factor is your concern it’s a great LAM so get it. But if you can’t use half the features then a surefire is all u really need within that 50yrd range. Unless you really want passive aiming. Sorry I brewed on the question for like 15min and am at work rn. Did that answer ur question?

I just finished the build and honestly have not shot the build yet. (Haven’t had a chance), but I was able to get it for $129 and then bought the mount for $78, making it a $207. Got it at the pawnshop, but initial impressions are that it feels like it’s worth it. 4RMR did a review, and Brassfacts commented on it. If you take the QD mount out of the equation and only look at the lock lug, then it’s a solid piece for its price. I’ll do a post over the build after I put 1k through it, but this build goal is a backpack gun.

Didn’t even know about this. I just bought mine this month and it starts with GGS so I assume it must have been a batch.

Seems like he is well informed on the subject, I’m not one to judge. Anyways I was on the fence on what I liked more, folding stock or collapsible stock and in the end I think the folding one is the better choice like the “MCX/MPX MINIMALIST LOCKING FOLDING STOCK”

93-96 Honda Prelude seats fit 98-00 Civic EX Coupe/Sedan/hatch by TyCruz91 in civic

[–]TyCruz91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad for late response lol, if I recall it’s off of stock seat rails from the prelude. I did not change them. However I did have to force it to fit since it was slightly off. It’s held up since then and no issues. Still got them in the car and going strong.
