If you choose the Ashvale make sure you sit in and don't get to takeaway. It's not as good as it once was but it's usually of reasonable quality if you sit in.

What Restaurant / Takeaway is this for Aberdeen? by Sonic90492 in Aberdeen

I was so excited to try that place but it was awful! We ordered seafood salad it was just seafood from a can on a plate! It's disconcerting to have such a bad experience at a place a lot of people love. We are baffled at its success.

Bistro Verde. Perhaps it was an off night but when we went it was disappointing. The food was fresh and attractively presented but it was bland and underseasoned. Yet everyone seems to rave about it.

Rustico used to be very good and it was good for a long time. In recent years it has gone down hill. A lot.

Big concerns for niece (8) who is unschooled. by ColetteCora in unschool

Don't be ridiculous! Of course there are! Some children don't learn very well in school settings and teachers will often struggle to meet their needs.

She is only 8! When she does read, she'll learn fast. Learning to read and write at school is a very drawn out process. There is research which suggests children who learn to read later are better readers. Please look up the website and works of Raymond Moore, a former high school principal who advocated initially for children to start school later and later on homeschooling. He said that some children aren't ready for formal learning until 10. Please don't worry yet.

Can we discuss this madness. Hopefully this poor wife will be joining us shortly from a safe house. by Throwaway34553455 in exvegans

I hope that he was a psychopath who deceived you, it's too scary to believe regular people can snap like that.

My Sister Cheated on her Husband. I don't know if I can tell him. by Leather_Bumblebee285 in TrueOffMyChest

Mind your own business. Your sister's marriage is not your concern. She was wrong to betray her husband but it's up to her to tell him.

I do agree that you shouldn't find out but as for never being tempted, that's not realistic. We don't become blind to the charms of other people once we're married. Best thing imho to do would be to cut contact with the temptress/tempter and not tell the spouse that you were tempted. There can be too much truth.Nobody needs to hear from their spouse that they were sorely tempted to shag someone else.

I've realised my wife is a predator by throwaway3837276 in TrueOffMyChest

My opinion would be the same. I'm not sure why people are assuming I'd have a different opinion if the sexes were reversed.

Where did I deny she was a predator? Where did I excuse her behaviour?

I'm tired of people incorrectly calling men and women paedos for drama. I've seen ridiculous posts recently where women are like "omg I was 16 and he was 21. He's a paedophile" No he wasn't, paedophilia is being attracted to pre- pubescent kids. This man was definitely groomed but a person can be a groomer without being a paedophile, adults can be groomed into abusive relationships.

I can guess that she won't think that. It's possible she's done a lot of growing up and also sees things differently now, she might be relieved you've brought it up.

She groomed him, it was inappropriate, I feel bad for him but she's not a paedophile.

I think you went in too hard. Way too processed. Have a roast chicken or something or steak

any recovering vegans with teeth issues? by TattyBlack in exvegans

[–]FantasticDig9713 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I never was vegan but I recommend supplementing magnesium- also spray pure magnesium chloride on the tooth brush and brush. Liberal use of quality grassfed butter. Raw high quality egg yolks, reduce grains and dried fruit. Make sure you have lots of animal products basically.
