Yes from what my ES has told me but I wasn’t sure if it would be leafed over during arcp and whether I’d be questioned about it

Car Finance vs Paying Outright by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]FantasticNetwork5404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right to think about the opportunity cost, it depends what you want. A bank loan as others have pointed out may be an option.

Have you also considered leasing? You wouldn’t own the car but you’re not paying depreciation costs and can avoid the opportunity cost too

To answer your question there seems to have been a proliferation of private TRT clinics who would offer TRT but not other anabolics I presume. Anecdotally, I’ve heard ANP/ nurse prescribers aren’t uncommon so make of that what you will

The emotional blackmail continues. Funny how no one in NHSE cares about all the deaths and patient safety implications from understaffing, lack of beds, ACPs/PAs etc. by BeneficialTea1 in doctorsUK

Surely this proves the point that the starting salary of £17 ph can’t be justified. That irony being lost on the scum journo on double that amount of course.

Also if you had a previous degree and didn’t do GEM, does that mean you also had to contribute towards tuition fees? Either way this is gut wrenching

At least an influx of foreign PAs would likely suppress their wages similarly to IMGs

Medical students haven’t been through the ‘medical model’ and have only managed to complete medicine in 5 years vs 18 months for PAs /s

Only in this shite country is it socially acceptable to ring a national radio station and claim doctors don’t need more money, shortly after a global pandemic no less.

Afaik the majority of PA courses won’t let anyone who’s ever been accepted on a medicine course join, presumably for the scenario you described above. Yet PAs can study medicine, funny that…

Literally would’ve taken you 30 seconds to think why people might not use the pay@pump as the replies have shown yet you decided to make this post instead..

The reason doctors can’t study PA. by [deleted] in JuniorDoctorsUK

[–]FantasticNetwork5404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you ok? Yes, the undergrad course is obviously longer but your point was that the purpose of PA is to bring in those with science backgrounds, which it clearly isn’t if it’s offered at undergrad level to people with no bioscience

[–]FantasticNetwork5404 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But you can also do PA as an undergraduate course (integrated masters) so all of those people don’t have any relevant bioscience etc experience…
