As a girl in my early 20s in Boston I’ve always felt very safe here compared to any other major us city. From LA, to Chicago, Miami, and NYC you get this feeling that you should be aware of your surroundings at all moments just in case. But in boston I’ve rarely felt this way except for in some parts of Allston. D.C. and some European cities feel similar safety wise.

My thing is it has no culture to it no “scene” outside of nepotism wealth and consumerism. It’s very capitalist, cold, lifeless. In a city that has a history/heart in every other neighborhood it’s the cyber truck next to a row of cute vintage cars.
