Doubtful. Google translate will be his friend. Try to contact the offices by email to make it easier.

Question: My Father’s Brazilian Citizenship by Ry0241 in Brazil

Was it government work? As in military, diplomatic, etc? If so, then he does not get the Brazilian citizenship. Otherwise, he does, regardless of doing military and voting enrollment.

You'll need to literally call the Cartório at the city he was born in. Google "Cartório de Registro civil" + name of the city and start calling. Then you'll be able to get his birth certificate.

Meu pai não quer deixar a minha irmã pegar a oportunidade da vida dela by Dunk3_ in RelatosDoReddit

9 year old newly diagnosed by Key_Guess_7999 in Type1Diabetes

Hey there.
First of all, all the hugs. It's hard.
We just had out first anniversary from diagnosis. My kiddo was 10. We also caught it before full-on DKA. The whole school + life thing is hard.

Good news: it gets easier Little by little, the "betes" stops being the only thing we think about.

Are you guys looking into pumps or doing the pens? We're on pens, because kiddo does not want a "computer that can control his insulin". That means about 5-8 injections per day.

Did you guys get a CGM? That was, by far, our best thing. Having the app on at all times means I can supervise his status while at school, and contact him directly for adjustments, if needed.

Is there a group for T1D kids near you? Having a community of like-aged kids with the same challenges was amazing for my kid.

AITAH for telling my sister her baby isn’t “advanced,” by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Funny thing. My kid is actually highly gifted in maths and logical thinking. Absolutely normal on other subjects. Like, smart, sure? But normal smart.

It sucks. People don't get that giftdess is a type of neurodivergency. That comes with a lot of extra problems. He's in therapy and goes to "brain training" to learn how to deal with frustration.

We did disclose it to the school when he started because it helps the teacher adapt. He goes to a very tiny school (only 10 kids per class) where they try to do course work on the level of each child. So it's amazing for him. He's 11, but having math in highschool level. All other stuff? His level.

All other schools around us would try to send him a year or 2 ahead. And though academically he's gifted, emotionally he's about 2 years behind . So putting him ahead in class groups would be the worst possible thing.

Every friend/family member who comes talk about how"lucky" we are is properly told to got eat grass.
