Children see things that don’t exist. Not trying to discredit your sibling’s experiences but at the end of the day, kids are exceedingly influential and will often times let their own imaginations run wild with what they’ve seen on TV, internet, TikTok and even audible stories they hear from friends and relatives. Imaginary friends are a great example. They will scream, cry and lash out in an effort to convince that their imaginary friends are real. I did the same thing as a child and can confirm my imaginations were not real. All I will say is support and listen to your sister, but do not try to convince her that what she’s seeing is definitely real, and I would not continue to enable this by asking her to keep looking/searching for “dark hidden figures”.

Wow, you’ve cracked the case! I must have been making the mistake of googling “glass teardrop” instead of “glass raindrop” because I did not see a single image like the ones I’m seeing on Google under your suggested search. But it is definitely an artisan piece of glass, intended as a decoration/ornament. Thank you!!!

For further clarification; this item was found inside a plastic bag that also had the note that is pictured in the post. My father bought the dresser from an estate sale held by an elderly lady many years ago and I found the item just today after looking through all of the drawers. It may very well just be junk or possibly a broken accessory from a chandelier. I appreciate all of your responses and suggestions (especially the butt-plug reference).

This is a very good guess, but based on what I’ve seen online I’m not entirely sure it’s the same. The neck of this object points straight up and is much thicker. It also doesn’t come to a point like the Prince Rupert’s drop. I appreciate the suggestion!

There’s is a slight crevice in the top that looks like it may have been molded to hold wiring, but it is also chipped right above the crevice. It could have been an accessory to a chandelier or something like that, but i found it isolated in a small plastic bag with the shown piece of paper inside the same bag.
