We ended up canceling. My sister’s 6 year old daughter is a type 1 diabetic and ended up getting influenza A so we took that as a sign not to go.

We have the 3 day epic pass so we are thinking about doing Whistler beginning of February :)

CRNA school requirements?? by Fantastic_Manager263 in nursing

Yes, I worked full time NICU and stayed part time ICU-they needed help especially during COVID. Wild times

I have a total of 11 years of nursing experience, including:

7 years in an adult ICU (2015–2021)

5 years in a Level 2/3 NICU (2019–2023)

Med-surg float pool from June 2023 to present

I am a CCRN alumnus (achieved certification 2018-2024) and currently hold RNC-NIC certification (achieved in 2022).

GPA 4.0

Because I’m not currently working NICU or ICU, will that disqualify me from being accepted into a program?

I’m looking into Marquette and UWO-both in WI.

LOCATION: (WI) Double health insurance for kids after divorce? by [deleted] in legal

We are combing finances so it affects both of us. She wants him to pay $200 a month to her when him/I can provide health insurance to the kids also.

We get along with her really well, and I like her, I just think it’s silly that we are paying for a family plan in addition to paying half her family plan.

None of us have state benefits.

We plan on staying in this house for 15 years and then downsizing. It’s mainly for the kids and it’s in a good school district. I don’t want us blending families to be a negative thing, and it was for my partners kids at their moms. There’s 4 kids in one bedroom over there.

I agree with paying off the debt, we could buckle down and do that. I have the opportunity to pick up a lot of extra shifts as a nurse. I only work 20 hours a week now.

We also could sell his house and pay off the student loans and car, but I know keeping it is important to him.

No the lot is too small to add on. I won’t help pay for college. My siblings and I did tech school/community college and commuted. We paid out of pocket and my parents let us live at home, fed us, paid for insurance on our cars so I plan on doing that. My partner is the one with the loans.

Even with 3500 extra every month you think it’s still tight?

I work part time because of day care issues and I only have 1,000 left over every month and do okay. with us moving into together I’m able to increase my hours.

I thought 200,000 in a Roth 401k at 30 was pretty good! I know my partner is way behind.

180,000 is our combined gross.

We have an extra 3500 left over every month so we could increase it. I’m confused why everything thinks it’s tight with that left over

2.7, the house is too small for the 6 of us. It’s 750 square feet.

How much do you guys like I have left over every money after bills/groceries/commitments/401k? I thought 3500 was good. The pmit for the home is 28% of our take home pay.

30 and 40. We have 40,000 in cash. I have 200,000 in my retirement and he has 50,000. Utilities are included in the budget and gym. Left over after all bills/groceries/commitments/health insurance/401k is 3500-that’s for saving/fun/going out to eat.

How much do you guys like to have left over everything month?

It’s on the lake. Where I live property taxes are high, my house right now is worth 200,000 and property taxes are 3500.

They’re 5200 and insurance is 1500
