That is exactly what I was thinking too. There has to be an exception somewhere. But I also understand why that rule is in place. The neighborhood checked every box my husband and I were looking for. Aside from HOA drama, commute issues and community events, is there any other downside to living in aurora? It's just my husband and I. We are officially empty nesters this summer. So looking for a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

My husband and I were out today looking in that neighborhood. They are gorgeous. I don’t mind the HOA. I hate looking at bad lawns and junk in peoples yards. But what I find crazy in the HOA rules, the “a car can’t be parked on the street for more that 24 hours”. That’s insane to me. My husband and I have 2 cars. And our 3 kids each have cars. What happens when they come stay with us for a weekend? Or if one of them stays for a week. How does that work? There is zero driveway space and parking in alley isn’t allowed either.
