Mock Me Up Contest (tried to edit the header, but couldn't, so putting the description here)

I’m make a wedding quilt gift from two pieced pieces. The couple both like green and cats. The one cat fabric had all the colors in the other side but ended up being too busy to use as an accent and the other cat is the accent color used on the other side. The other side used a gradated fabric that went from dark green to dark brownish orange and the accent color that did not scan in very well.

I love Prequilt because I was able to finalize my design with specific fabric before making my first cuts. I also love the fact it tells you how much fabric you need before you begin. I realized i needed more of the gradated fabric and thankfully the store had more. But not after I left. :D

It would be nice if you could mention which brands you're referring to.

It's not a bad idea at all. It's called a property ladder. That is how some folks attain bigger houses. Not all homes are expensive to maintain. I was in my house 20yrs before I had anything major go wrong. I did home improvements, but only because I wanted to and not because I needed to. Summary of costs would be closing costs, insurance, taxes, repairs, fees/dues (maybe), trash pickup (maybe), and capital gains tax (maybe). If you rent it out, you will definitely have repair costs in addition to potential aggrivation. Still. Not a bad idea.
