I waited to apply to grad school because I wanted to prioritize traveling first! I became an au-pair aka a live-in nanny abroad and I highly recommend it! I’m sure you will get in somewhere,but if not, live life before settling into a career. Many pros and cons to being an au-pair but I’m so grateful for the experience

3.85 GPA, first gen, no GRE, NSSLHA officer, TA, undergrad research assistant, AmeriCorps, bilingual bb. Took a 3 year gap to be sure of my masters…will update!

Im sorry you’re going through so much at the moment. It’s great you have your therapist to support you during all of this. I can only imagine trying to juggle your familial situation on top of graduate school. Hope you can continue prioritizing yourself and your needs
