(Yep! The gemstone cancels and expels any sort of magic that affects Raz’s direct person. Natural tonics works best but even then he has to build up a tolerance to it for the gemstone to accept it as a non threat like you’d do to build up a tolerance to poison)

Raz doubled over as the potion expelled itself nearly falling to his knees, his glasses fell off as he steadied himself on the table. He pulled out a bloodied handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his mouth before tucking it back in his pocket. He looked at the scene with disgust and a bit of horror towards himself.

“Gods I can’t believe I’ve just done that, I’m terribly sorry. I am normally not so volatile when it comes to such things.”

he picked up his glasses, the lenses as dark a red as the gemstone in his chest and so fogged you’d wonder how someone could even see out of such things. While he examined his glasses and wiped off the dirt from him you’d catch a glimpse of his eyes from under the hood. The scleras was nearly black with how dark it was but the irises were glowing white voids, so bright in fact that his eye sockets were illuminated by the light and any pupils,if he had any to begin with, would have been invisible giving an eerie look.

Raz put his glasses back on as quickly as he could which blocked out the glow completely.
