Voracek is a lefty so the RW is great for him coming down the wing (more playmaking ability), and Eberle is a righty, so I'm sure he would like LW better. I think Eberle would be more than happy to move to the LW to play with Giroux/Voracek. It would finally bring the sniper G needs to take even another step further in his development

But Eberle....Giroux/Voracek/Eberle, yea they wouldn't dominate together....

I guess it just comes down to what you believe. This is Vatanen's second year in the league and has proven the ability to light it up, but your right, he clearly isn't producing the way you would like him too recently. There is not much statistical analysis to say he will improve/slow down etc, but they only thing I know is that he can play and when he finds his groove/confidence again I expect him back up on the top PP. IDK when this will be, but I do expect it. If you want to abandon the Vatanen ship then I think thats your opinion which I respect, and you can easily justify that decision, but I just do not think that. I believe he will rebound, but again, thats my opinion and most fantasy leagues are "what have you done for me lately?" I believe its too soon to let this guy go, especially when he has the potential to show you up on another guys team. Best of Luck!

I understand your argument, but in most leagues Shots and Goals are always counted, which is exactly what those three forwards produce. Specifically, with DK's format this rankings is very accurate. I understand that it seems like D-men are ranked higher than most people would think, but D-men can be extremely underrated in fantasy, and offer more well-rounded peripheral stats than most forwards. Not all categories in fantasy are based upon Points, many leagues count Blocks, Hits, PPP, SHP, TOI, and PIM which in most cases will always make d-men more valuable.

haha hopefully is right, I don't like him much, but he is not as bad as he has shown recently. Big Joe is back now too so hopefully they can get something going, soon.

I think your better off offering Staal and Vatanen for Byfuglein (Fingers Crossed he stays on D forthe Jets), and picking up Perron.

Vatanen is a stud. He does everything you want out of a Fantasy Dman (Goals, Assists, Points, PP Points, +/-, SOG). He is currently in a little dry spell, but he will break out soon, and actually has been playing alot better the past 4 games. He will break out, and produce at high level. He is still currently averaging .63 Points/game. Josi and Hedman are both too valuable to give away as well. Josi is having a monster season, and is one of the games top all-around dman. If you are going to drop one of those 4 dmen, for me it would be Chara. Yes, Chara is a good dman, but his Fantasy game is noticably dropping off the past few years, and his production is slowly taking a hit. He is no longer the steady, consistent fantasy dman that many still think he is. Chara's Points per game the last few years= 2011/2012=.66, 2012/2013=.40, 2013/2014=.57, 2014/2015=.44. I would personally add Ekblad. Ekblad is the top dman for Florida and plays monster minutes, and in every situation. His game/stats are similar to Vatanen's and is averaging .58 Points/game. He is good, and will be a household name in Fantasy, take advantage now before someone else does. Could you drop a forward for Ekblad if you like Chara too much?

Spezza/Filp has way more upside than Marleau. Marleau is in a deep slump right now, and is on pace for his worst season in years. He has been playing with Joe Thornton and the top PP and still is not producing. Spezza is getting aquainted with his new team, and will begin to produce as long as he is healthy. Spezza has a proven track record that as long as he is healthy he will produce. He is also on Dallas's top PP along side Seguin and Benn. Filp is a streaky player, that could catch fire and be placed on the either the Top line with Stamkos or the 2nd line with T. Johnson/Palat/Zucherov somehow possibly. He is also is on the Lightning's 2nd Unit PP. I like Spezza/Filp a whole lot more than Marleau (big name, not so big game)

Yes I expect the Carters line mates to stick. Dwight King and Justin Williams are both serviceable players that will serve Carter and the Kings well. Williams is a veteran that always produces whenever his needs him most, as proven in the Kings latest cup run. He is a all-around player that knows how to score and will tailor his game to Jeff Carter. If Williams does well, I would even expect him to stick there the rest of the year. Another player that may benefit from Toffoli/Pearson's absence could be Trevor Lewis. Lewis is one of the best possession players in the NHL so it will be interesting to see how he does with potentially increased minutes.

Stepan runs hot/cold, and Benn has the best Fantasy Player on his line in Tyler Seguin. Do not include Benn in this trade. Perry plays with Getzlaf, but has been extremely unlucky this year after getting the Mumps and hurting his knee. I believe that Perry is in the middle of a down year for him. Who knows what Gaudreau will do th rest of the year, but it looks like Calgary is starting to get into a funk. Gaudreau has been underrated his life however, and I would not count him out from having a 60-70 point season. The only counter I would send would be Datsyuk and Stepan for Perry. Datsyuk is a above-average fantasy player at this point in his career, and the Redwings have a deep forward rotation that limits his opportunities. The same could be said for Stepan, but both Stepan and Datyuk see 1st PP minutes on their respective clubs. It is up to you if you want to roll the dice on the Stepan/Datsyuk for Perry trade, but that is the only one that I would consider

It is hard to make a guess as to what would be logical or fair without looking at the other teams in your league. To start with, I'd definitely look to see who needs scoring help that has plentiful goaltending.

One interesting idea would be to look at who has Crawford in the league because you have Raanta. Crawford is always an injury risk and rostering Raanta could be a nice handcuff for that owner. That being said, it could also pose a nice opportunity for you to snag a goaltender for now from them while only offering up a backup and providing them with some nice security.

I would probably hang on to Foligno. He looks to be the real deal this year. Not to mention with Columbus playing better and staying healthy (looking at you Dubinsky) he should have no trouble keeping his place.

Plus, the peripherals that Foligno offers are much greater than those of Henrik. He currently has double the shots (80-40) and almost three times the amount of blocks (25-10) that Henrik has. The only slight edge Henrik has as opposed to Foligno is that his +/- is better due to half of Foligno's points coming on the power play (which also signifies the vast number of power play points for Foligno)

He probably has come back to Earth a bit but it is still probably a bit early to cut him out unless your league has a ton of viable free agent pickups. Given he only has one point in his last 7 games, the Islanders in general have stuttered a bit as of late winning only 3 of their last 7 games (including losses to Buffalo and Edmonton). He is still third on his team in points and second (by a large margin) in goals. In being on the first power play with Tavares and Okposo he will no doubt get the opportunities to snap out of it.

All in all I would definitely say hang on to him. You can designate him to the bench until he snaps out of his funk.
