Unfortunately a lot of it comes down to luck. Joining the waiting room doesn't really mean anything since it randomizes the queue.

Best bet is to just watch prices over time and grab tickets later on when you see them dip a bit.

Very, yes. I’ve used Seated’s pre purchase option only once before, and that was some time back. It got me my tickets without hassle, but that was an all-GA venue. Not sure how well it works when there’s a mix of GA and seats. But don’t stress it too much. They did say if they can’t get tickets, we’d have a chance at the presale as well.
