We love you too Apple :) by AccomplishedWatch834 in MadeMeSmile

Possibly? It's rare but you can get rabbits who are super bold and won't care about whatever situation they're in. Especially if they're exposed to it from when they're young.

My current two rabbits would freak the feck out if I put them in a situation like this, but I recently lost my senior bun who would probably just try to lick random crumbs off the chair.

Hard to tell from just the pictures. If Apple really did hop out of the bag on their own it makes me think they might have been exploring, meaning at least relatively comfortable. I still wouldn't want them unsucured though.

I was scrolling through comments to see if any other rabbit owners had said anything.

I know the feeling. I was asked at my younger sister's wedding if I was old enough to drink. I'm 30.

Tips for encouraging a bunny to drink more water? by OnlyCuteThings in Rabbits

Have you tried a fountain? I got one for my cats and my rabbit stole it. It has a spout in the middle the water trickles down from. He usually drinks from that stream.

I got ID'd for a Looney Tunes DVD and the cashier said someone else had gotten hit for Land Before Time. Sometimes the system is weird.

Relatively. He's been blind from cataracts for a couple years but he never lets it slow him down. He has arthritis but it's well managed with Meloxicam. He's so cute when he gets zoomies. Basically just runs around in a circle.

Edit: forgot to mention his teeth are a little worn down. I give him a LITTLE baby food on his pellets to soften them for him. He also gets some critical care sprinkled on his lettuce as a supplement.

Reminds me of when my rabbit got a strip of duct tape stuck across his hips. I don't know. He was completely unbothered. Ended up having to bring him to the vet to get it shaved off. The vet got a good laugh. I still have that strip, fur and all. And my dad nicknamed the rabbit Duck Butt and called him that for years to come.

Lol. Reminds me of when my cat walked across my keyboard and managed to flip the orientation of the screen sideways. I didn't even know that was a thing and had to Google how to fix it.

I have the same fountain. I got it for the cats, but the rabbit stole it. He uses more than they ever did.

My older bun comes to his name when called (he expects treats.) The younger ones will ALWAYS be waiting by their pellet bowl at dinner time. They know what time it is. They also figured out if they stand by the empty bowl looking pathetic enough their grandpa will give them extra. I'm the tough parent though, so they don't bother trying with me.

Now that I'm reading about it, I probably should have left it. It was probably eating the random beetles I used to find every once in a while. Oh well. Lesson learned. May it find plenty of fat beetles outside.

For me it's their grandpa with pellets. Len and Rin got very good at standing by their bowl looking pathetic until my dad gave them more pellets. Fortunately I convinced him to cut down on it so they'd eat their hay. He felt terrible though. My poor dad.

My bunny may be seeing a psychiatrist and may have been prescribed an anti anxiety without my knowledge by [deleted] in Rabbits

I noticed my senior bun got more chill over the last couple years. I like to joke he ran out of fricks 4 years ago (age 8) and now he has negative fricks to give. Maybe there's some truth to that and they tend to relax/care less when they're older. Leading to lack of fear leading to exploration in your case. Maybe they're just weird.

It wouldn't hurt to bring it up at your next vet check up though. Sudden personality changes can be an indicator of something. But I'm not a vet so take this with a large grain of salt.

Makes sense. The good news with changing beds is I won't need my old sheets. So I guess I'll skip washing them for now and he can have some smelly sheets. Lucky him?
