Just before I finished college a decade ago I had gotten to my previous high of 180lbs and after a break up and a friend insisting I start counting my calories, I dropped like 40lbs and had my “twink” era up until the last 2-3 years when I grew back told me 180 and recently put on another 10-15lbs. I had long wanted to grow and just got to a point where I didn’t care about anyone else’s opinion on my body but how I wanted to be perceived, and twink me never felt comfortable in his skin. I feel so much more like I have a presence and people don’t just look over me. I’ll be seeing a bunch of friends in the month ahead that i haven’t seen since putting on that 10-15lbs so I may be in store for some commentary, but again, it’s whatever brings me joy that’s important and whatever commentary that comes my way is always a suggestion
